Karla Templeton spoke at the Duth Treat last week, along with several other candidates. If you want to hear a lot of back pedaling and doublespeak, ask her if she supports the PayRoll Tax?

That is : The DUTCH Treat Luncheon, ( my secretary can not type)

Regardless of her response, the payroll tax is the only “real” way that Shelby County has to get out of its current financial crisis. We have a structural tax problem, and it can’t be corrected by the tame ideas put forth by most of these candidates.
