STATE HOUSE STUNNER! House Republicans stunned as Kent Williams (R - Elizabethton, 4th D.) was unanimously elected Speaker of the House by Democrats! Lois DeBerry, asked if he could vote for any Republican. As of close of business Wednesday, Williams is still a Republican.
