Bartlett: The Bartlett Area Chamber of Commerce and the Northeast Shelby County Rotary Club are seeking restaurants to participate in “Bartlett a la Carte”.


Politics: The Tipton County Tea Party has announced their endorsements in a wide variety of races. Hedy Weinberg, the head of TN’s ACLU, is interviewed on determining immigration status at arrest, which was signed into law by Governor Bredesen yesterday. Desoto County: A varied group of County officials are pushing for a traffic signal at US Highway 61 and Delta View Drive. The American Contract Bridge League has opened their new headquarters in Horn Lake. Southaven police captain offers sniper training. The Horn Lake Chamber of Commerce will hold its Membership Banquet in two weeks. Region 4 Mental Health workers will be flowing into expanded space in downtown Hernando.


Germantown: There will be no tax increase, but employees get a raise in the new City budget.
