Shelby County Commission: The owner of Buehler Homes, who is a million dollar tax delinquent, will be given 140 homes seized for tax payments to redevelop. More from WREG. The Community Development Council of Greater Memphis is protesting. Also, the Commission passed a resolution asking the State Legislature to pass a law making it easier for the County to give parcels of land to non-profit agencies. This is part of the “blight fighting” effort.

Juvenile Court: An Appeals court judge has ruled the second JC judge’s position cannot be filled by the Shelby County Commission, but that the law authorising it (at the State level) is unconstitutional. The Commercial Appeal has more.
