Cordova Leadership Council will host a debate for the Memphis Mayoral Special
Election on Tuesday evening September 29, 2009. The event will be held at the
Memphis Area Home Builders Association, 776 North Germantown Parkway, Cordova, TN at
6:30 p.m.

Council President, Gene Bryan, is excited about the opportunity for Cordova
residents to hear the views of the most prominent candidates. “We are planning on
inviting the leading candidates to be a part of our forum. We want area residents
to be able to make an informed choice in the upcoming election and ensure that the
candidates have the opportunity to address residents’ concerns.”

CLC has hosted candidate forums for each major election since 2004 and hopes to
repeat the enormous success of the 2007 Memphis Mayoral forum which drew record
attendance.
