City Council: Today’s meeting promises to be a busy one, with a long agenda. (PDF document.) Also, the City is a little closer to obtaining and releasing the Federal funds for foreclosure relief. And, the redevelopment plan for the University of Memphis neighborhood will be discussed. Lastly, the Council is also considering adding penalties to eight offenses so as to create new revenue streams to alleviate budget problems.
