Monday evening, November 10, 2008, was the inaugural event for the Memphis Humanitarian Awards, given this year to three Memphians who have gone above and beyond in giving back to the community: Dr. Scott Morris of the Church Health Center, Dick Bott of the Bott Radio Networks (and WCRV), and Delvin Lane of Streets Ministry. Keynote speaker for the evening was Cal Thomas, author and radio/television commentator.
